Daniel Walters

Daniel F. Walters, 41, of Blain Highway, Chillicothe, passed from this life Saturday afternoon, August 15, 2009, as the result of a motorcycle accident while riding with his girlfriend, Lorrie A. Moody. Danny was born June 9, 1968, in Ross Co. to Franklin E. and Ardella M. Johnson Walters, who survives. Also surviving are his sons N. Casey Walters and Cory D. Walters, both of Chillicothe; his brother and sister-in-law Sam (Melanie) Walters; Chillicothe; maternal grandparents D. Farrel and Janet Johnson, of Bourneville; and his nieces Molli and Jenni Walters, both of Chillicothe. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Franklin Dewey and Nellie Walters. Danny was a graduate of Huntington High School, Class of 1987. He was employed at Kenworth Truck Co. He was also a member of Scioto Lodge No. 6, F & AM. Danny enjoyed spending time with is boys and friends while riding 4-wheelers, hunting, fishing, canoeing and camping. We don't know why his life was cut short but may you rest in God's hands. We love you with all our hearts. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Thursday, August 20, at the Haller Funeral Home with Rev. Randall L. Rinehart and Pastor Roger Phillips officiating. Burial will be held at approximately 1:30pm in Twin Twp. Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 4-8pm at Haller Funeral Home, where a Masonic Funeral will be held at 7:00pm.
