Daniel Lee Gambill, 77, of Chillicothe, died April 7, 2021 at Westmoreland Place Nursing Home, following an extended illness.
He was born April 7, 1944 in Columbus. In 2000 he married Edna Smith Gambill, who survives. Also surviving are two children, Victoria (Frank) Berry, Chillicothe and William (Carla) Gambill, Circleville; two step-children, Wayne (Melissa) Baxter, Frankfort, and Kevin Baxter, Jackson; 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Ida Gambill; and two brothers, Donald (his twin) and Roger Gambill.
Daniel was a US Army veteran and retired from Mead Paper Company in 2014. He was a former member of American Legion Post 62 and enjoyed fishing, television and his pets.
The family will receive friends 2-4 pm Sunday at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
