Daniel W. Ater Daniel W. Ater, 53, of Bainbridge, died unexpectedly, Tuesday, December 26, 2006 in his home. He was born January 6, 1953 in Ross Co. to Maderia and Virginia Cochenour Ater. Survivors include his daughters, Abby Ater and Melinda Ater; his son, Daniel L. Hughes; sisters, Pauline Wilson, Barbara Saltz, Helen Jones, and Cindy Stanley; his brothers, Robert Ater and Bobby Ater; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Linda Ater and Joann Self; and a brother, Virgil Rosenberger. Graveside funeral services will be held 2:30 pm Friday in the Browns Chapel (Deerfield Twp.) Cemetery under the direction of the Haller Funeral Home. Calling hours will not be observed.
