Dana Lee Sparks, 69, of Chillicothe, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday morning, March 7, 2024 at his home.
He was born May 14, 1954 in Circleville, Ohio, son of the late George and Rosie (Dean) Sparks, Sr. He married his beloved wife, Patricia (Lovenshimer) Sparks in 1974, who survives.
Also surviving is his daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie (Aaron) Easter; three grandsons, Austin, Shawn, and Jacob Easter; one granddaughter, Alyssa Sparks; two siblings, Darla (Matt) Kirkpatrick, and George (Nadean) Sparks, Jr.; his beloved dogs, Maggie and Dixie; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and close friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jeff Sparks, and his sister, Tammy Sparks.
Dana retired from Owens Corning in Ashville, Ohio after many years of employment. He loved being outdoors, taking his boat on the water, and going fishing. He also enjoyed spending time on his mower and living on the farm. But most of all, he loved spending time with his wife, daughter, and grandchildren. He will be truly missed by all who had the opportunity to know him.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no public calling hours or services.
