Dana Ross

Dana L. "Dink" Ross, 38, of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly June 7, 2012, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born February 22, 1974, in Ross County, to Donald L. and Lena A. (Plummer) Ross. Surviving are his daughter Shana E. Ross; his son Ryan James "R.J." Ross; his mother, Lena A. Ross; maternal grandmother Helen Plummer; brothers and sisters-in-law Donnie (Jeanie) Ross, all of Chillicothe; Scott (Connie) Ross, Springfield; sister Dawn Jarrells, Chillicothe; nieces and nephews: Mindy, Mikie, Cheyenne, Brandon, Courtney, Shelby, Logan and Kyle; a great-nephew Kaiden; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, including special cousins Vicki and Mikie; and many friends including a special friend Dewey Wicker. He was predeceased by his father, Donald; paternal grandparents Robert and Elise Ross; and his maternal grandfather Clark Plummer. Dana was an avid dirt track racer. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Monday in the Haller Funeral Home with Rev. Bernie Faulkner, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Little Mound Cemetery, Richmond Dale. Friends may call Sunday from 6-8pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions for the family may be made to Haller Funeral Home.
