Dale Skaggs

Dale P. Skaggs passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at the age of 88. He was born in Ross County on March 29, 1936 to William P. and Zelda (Wheeler) Skaggs.
Dale is survived by his wife Bonnie (Marcum) Skaggs, children, Debbie Skaggs, Diane Rau, and Dale E. (Patty) Skaggs "Little Dale", and Bonnie's children, Tabitha Jenkins, Carol Chamblin, and Angie Miller, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his brother Jim (Irene) Skaggs, best friend Leroy Weaver, and special friends Jim and Kathy Watkins.
Dale is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Mable L. (Pollock) Skaggs, his son, Ronnie Skaggs, and 1 brother and 5 sisters.
He retired from Mead after 42 years of service, was a 50 year member of the Scioto 6 Masonic Lodge, attended Bourneville Christian Union Church, and spent 22 years as part of the Twin Township Volunteer EMS, where he was also Fire Chief. He loved his God, his Grandchildren, and farming.
Calling hours will be held at the Haller Funeral Home on Monday, February 17, 2025, from 6pm to 8pm and Tuesday from 12pm to 1pm. The Funeral Service for Dale will begin on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 1:00 pm followed by burial at Twin Township Cemetery.
