Daisy A. Proper Daisy A. Proper, 78, of Londonderry, died 11:10 am, Sunday, April 8, 2007, in Grant Medical Center, following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, in the Haller Funeral Home, Rev. Fred Fox officiating. Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery. Friends may call 5-9 pm Wednesday at Haller's. She was born March 26, 1929 in Ross Co. to Harley and Rachel Ward Butterbaugh. On February 18, 1947 she married Peter D. Proper, who survives. Also surviving are her six daughters, Sheila Hoffhines, of Chillicothe, Brenda (Wayne) Barker, and Donna (Randy) Shoemaker, both of Londonderry, Phyllis Amlin, of Piketon, Rebecca (Daniel) Jones, of Powell, and Carolyn (Mitch) Holton, of Chillicothe; 15 grandchildren, Chris and Phil Kellough, Scott Barker, Kim Shoemaker, Kady and Amy Shoemaker, Heather Francis, Holly Burke, Stefanie Duckworth, Audrey, Rachel and Robert Jones, Amanda, Ryan and Eric Holton; 10 great-grandchildren, a brother, Herbert (Shirley) Butterbaugh, of Chillicothe; a sister-in-law, Maxine Butterbaugh; a brother-in-law, Jim Hatfield; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by seven sisters, infant sister Janet, Lucy Varney, Mary Borland, Edna Hatfield, Della Ward, Nellie Vest, and Florence Proehl; two brothers, William and Everett Butterbaugh; and a son-in-law, Bill Amlin. Mrs. Proper was a member of the Spud Run Bible Christian Church, where she served as secretary for several years, and a member of the Liberty Township Volunteer Fire Department Auxillary.
