Daisy Cosby

May 9, 1933 — November 30, 2023

Daisy Madeline Cosby passed away in Chillicothe on November 30, 2023 at the age of 90. She was born May 9, 1933 to the late Wardie Ragland and Kathryn (Beatty) Ragland.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Heber Cosby, children, Neil Jones, and Sam Jones, and siblings, Gladys Logan, Franklin Ragland, Hilda Jackson, Darlene Ragland, and Arlene Garnes.

Daisy is survived by her son, Kevin Ragland, grandson, Devin Valentine, great grandchildren, Devin Valentine Jr and Ani'ya Valentine, siblings, Charlotte Wilson of Springfield, and Wardie Edward Ragland Jr of Chillicothe. She will also be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Daisy was a long time member of Zion Baptist Church.

Services to celebrate Daisy's life will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, December 8, 2023 at Zion Baptist Church located at 536 Mill Street, Chillicothe followed by burial at Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may join the family for visitation on Friday from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at the church.
