D. Strausbaugh

Dale Richard "Dick" Strausbaugh, 70, of Chillicothe, died at 10:00am September 18, 2015, at his residence. He was born February 12, 1945, in Fayette County, OH, to the late Mack Edward and Donna Belle (Doan) Strausbaugh. Surviving are his son, Dale Richard "Will" Strausbaugh, Chillicothe; a granddaughter; his companion, Lisa McPherson, Chillicothe; brothers and sisters: Ed (Becky) Strausbaugh, New Holland, OH; Ginnie Thacker McCoy, Washington C.H., OH; Kenny (Sonia) Thacker, Jackson, OH; numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Donna Henry; and brother-in-law Dr. Robert McCoy. Dick loved horse racing and playing corn hole. He was a member of the VFW Men's Auxiliary and former member of the Eagles Aerie 600. He participated in many fund raisers and activities with these clubs. At his request, cremation services will be held under the direction of Haller Funeral Home and Crematory. Public services will not be observed.
