D. Miller

D. Imogene "Ima" Miller, 86, of Chillicothe, died May 1, 2022, at 1:05pm in Westmoreland Place following a brief illness.   She was born July 11, 1935, in Rarden, OH to the late Marquis D. and Evelyn (Newman) Hibbs IV.  On December 11, 1954, she married Donald R. Miller, who preceded her in death November 12, 1991.   Surviving are her children: Michael (Sue) Miller, Donnie Miller, David Miller, Jeff (Julie) Miller, and Elizabeth Miller (Rodney Bowman), all of Chillicothe; grandchildren: Adam (Lindsey) Miller, Blair (Christopher) Hagstrom, Garet Miller, Jason (Kara) Miller, Ariel Miller, Courtney Merritt, Lauryn Miller, Shelli (Max) Woodard, Ty Bowman; great-grandchildren: Torrance Miller, Adelyn Miller, Rhett Merritt, Esther Merritt, Saijen Bounthisan, Carson Woodard, Anna Miller, Beckett Miller, Michael Miller, Noland Hagstrom, Eleanor Hagstrom and Grace Hagstrom; sisters Vicki (Larry) Windle, Karen Sargent; and a brother-in-law Harold Alexander.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her grandson-in-law Jeremy Merritt; and sister Dorthy Alexander.   Ima was a member of the High St. CCCU, where she had served as a member of the choir, secretary for the Evangelical Christian Ladies, and secretary/treasurer of the church extension.  She had worked as an LPN for CCI prior to retiring in 2002.   At her request, private graveside services will be held in Mustard Cemetery, Rarden, OH under the direction of Haller Funeral Home & Crematory.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to National Church Residence (NCR) Hospice, 681 E. Third St., Waverly, OH, 45690.
