Cynthia Lee Drummond, 64, of Chillicothe, died 9:00 am, Saturday, May 20, 2017, at Westmoreland Place Nursing Home, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born November 29, 1952 in Chillicothe to the late Dale T. and Helen E. Bettendorf Rohrer. Survivors include close cousins, Christine (Rick) Hannan, Pam Shonkwiler, David (Mahasti) Rittinger, Tana (Ronald) Kelly, Leslie (Forbes) Hamman, Lauren (Adam) Porter, and Benjamin (Elizabeth) Henthorne; her Godchildren, Andrew, Evelyn, and Emily Hamman and Riley Porter; nieces and nephews, Amanda Daniels, Kayla Daniels-Houseman, Morgan Daniels, Bethany, Seth, and Nathan (Kelsey) MacCarter; very special friends, Neil and Debbie Smith, and her K9 companion, Roxie. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Kim and Rick Rohrer. Cindy received her bachelor degree from the Ohio Christian University and was Director of Volunteer Services at the Adena Health System. She was an active member of Brookside Church, the Chillicothe Morning Rotary, and loved to cook and cater. Cindy loved her family, her health system, and her community. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Wednesday at Brookside Church, Rev. Dr. Ronald Kelly officiating. Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may call 4-7 pm Tuesday at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory.
