Cindy Ann Cox

Cynthia Ann Cox, 63, of Chillicothe, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at her home.

She was born September 5, 1962, in Chillicothe, Ohio, daughter of the late John and Betty (Jones) Virgin. On October 30, 1982, she married her beloved husband, Glen “Marty” Cox, Jr., and together they shared over 42 wonderful years of marriage.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by their children, Ashley (JR) Badger, and Ryan (Stephanie) Cox; grandchildren, Jayonna, Olivia, Cameron, Casen, Avery, Aiden, and Allyson; one great-grandson, Tatum; her brothers, John Virgin, David Virgin, and Rodney (Regina) Virgin; a close friend, Becky Vinzant; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Ricky Virgin.

Cindy was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, class of 1981. She went on to work at various retail stores, where she found a love for working in the bakery departments making cakes. In her free time, she loved reading, cooking, and baking. She also loved spending time laying on a warm beach watching the waves roll in next to her husband Marty.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, December 5, 2025 at the Haller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery. Friends may join the family for visitation from 11:00am until the time of the service on Friday to celebrate her life.
