Corda Perry

Corda I. Fry Perry, 80, of Frankfort, died at 8:05am Friday August 5, 2005, in Hearth and Care Nursing Home, Greenfield, following an extended illness. She was born July 23, 1925 in Logan Co., WV to Garland and Betty Maynard Fry. On August 5, 1940 she married Carl Perry, who survives. Also surviving are 3 daughters, Carla Burns, Doris (Ronald) Willett, both of Frankfort, and Kathy (Mark) Hoagland, of Greer, SC; 2 sons, Douglas (Marita) Perry, and Dwight Perry, both of Frankfort; 20 grandchildren, Sabra DeWitt, Luke R. Burns, Angela Moses, Stephen and Carl Willett, Carrie Bowdle, Meredith, Hillary and Drew Hoagland, Benjamin, Samuel, Micah, and Jesse Perry, Lydia Tost, Ruth Perry, Deborah McKinney, Rebecca, Aaron, Nathan, and Jared Perry; 6 great-grandchildren, Hannah Jo Burns, Makenna and Alyssa Moses, Blane and Lily Bowdle and Maddison Willett. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Mark Burns, and 2 sisters, Hazel Perry and Blanche Mathis. Mrs. Perry was a member of Faith Chapel. Her husband praises her as a faithful and loving wife of 65 years. Her children will remember her as a mother of prayer, a gentle spirit, and a devoted servant of Our Lord Jesus Christ. We cherished her listening ear and understanding heart and thank God for her precious life given to us. Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Sunday, August 7, at the Haller Funeral Home with her son-in-law Mark Hoagland officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call Saturday from 5-8pm at Haller Funeral Home.
