Constance "Connie" Sue Hammond, 75, of Chillicothe, passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning, May 6, 2021 at the Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
She was born August 19, 1945, in Manchester, Ohio, daughter of the late Carl and Eloise (Hackathorn) Hull.
Surviving is her fiancé, Thom Patrick; her two children, Angela (Charles Delong) Wisecup, and Eric (Vicki) Wisecup; two grandchildren, Benjamin V. Trimble, and Brooke A. (Nick) Wisecup Sprague; two great-grandchildren, Bryar M. Sprague, and Nash G. Sprague; her siblings, Bettey (Randy) Beatty, Michael Hull, and John "Pete" (Mitzi) Hull; her sister-in-law, Geisler Hull; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl Hull and Warren Hull, and a sister-in-law, Darlene Hull.
Connie worked as the Crisis Volunteer Coordinator for Scioto Paint Valley Mental Health for many years. She was a member of the Tyler United Methodist Church in Chillicothe. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and working in her flower beds.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00pm-7:00pm on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at the Haller Funeral Home. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no funeral service and cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in her honor to the Ross County Humane Society.
