Connie Vinson

Connie Drake Hirsch Vinson, 71, Wausau, WI, died Thursday, December 17, 2015 at the Aspirus Hospice House in Wausau, WI under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services. Connie was born January 16, 1944 in Chillicothe, OH to the late Carl and Marie (Manson) Drake. Prior to marriage, she worked as an office manager at Kroger's in Chillicothe for many years, developing many dear friendships with her Kroger's family. Connie was a very proud mother and adored being a grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her friends at the Eagles Club in Wausau. Connie is survived by her loving husband, Larry; children, Mark (Donna) Hirsch of Chillicothe, OH and Toni (Tom) Bagby of Wausau, WI; grandchildren, Mark and Hannah Hirsch of Chillicothe, OH and Matthew and David Bagby of Wausau, WI; siblings, Carl Drake Jr. of Chillicothe, OH, Lewis (Ravewan) of Bangkok, Thailand, Darwin Drake of Chillicothe, OH and Carol Woodruff of Hillsboro, OH; and extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Steve Woodruff. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Haller Funeral Home, with Pastor James A. Wade, Jr. officiating.
