Connie Maxie

Connie Lee Maxie, 65, of Chillicothe, died 9:56 pm, January 13, 2015, at Mt. Carmel East, Columbus, following an extended illness. She was born November 9, 1949 in Chillicothe to the late John E. Sheets and Martha R. Malone. On May 11, 1996 she married Timothy R. Maxie, who survives. Also surviving are two sisters, Donna (Robert) Spencer and Beth Ann Sheets, both of Chillicothe; a brother, Gilbert (Pam) Sheets, of Chillicothe; a brother-in-law, Roy Honeycutt and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Honeycutt. Connie received her associates' degree in Early Childhood Development in 1975 and worked in daycare much of her life. She was a member of the Salvation Army and an avid reader. Private graveside services will be held in Floral Hills Memory Garden at the convenience of the family.
