Connie Graves

Connie Ilene Graves, 84, of Chillicothe went up the stairway to Heaven and entered the pearly gates from her home in Chillicothe, 9:04 am, June 22, 2022.

She is the wife of Melvin "Bill", mother of Timothy, Tamara (Herschel), Teresa, Jodi and Joyce.  She had several who called her Mom and Grandma.  She is loved by all her grandchildren, Candice, Kacey, Andrea, Kevin (Jessica), Todd (Wendy) Justin (Cassandra), Ryan, and Kayla; and several great-grandchildren who enjoyed spending time and making memories with her.  Connie is also survived by a sister, Shirley Tucker; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was loved by all who met her, and will be missed by all of her friends who helped make her life so much brighter.  She took care of everyone, and was a great friend to her 4-legged companion, Marley.  She was preceded in death by 12 siblings and her parents.

She helped her children in any way she could.  She supported them in Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and 4H.  She was a volunteer at Mt. Logan School and assisted with band camp, CHS Boosters, Girl's Baton Corp., pageants, and countless weekend shopping trips.  She loved baking chocolate chip cookies, Texas sheet cake and cherry cheese cake.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 Saturday, July 2, 2022, at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory.  Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery.  Friends may call 5-8 pm Friday at Haller's.
