Clyde Taylor

Clyde G. "Hap" Taylor Clyde G. "Hap" Taylor, 85, of Chillicothe, died 6:50 pm, Sunday, August 6, 2006 in the Adena Regional Medical Center, following an extended illness. He was born May 27, 1921 in New Lexington, OH to Ora C. and Hattie Shaner Taylor. On July 27, 1946 he married Rosemary Bolyard Taylor, who survives. Also surviving are his three sons, Tim (Janet) Taylor, Jim (Jenny) Taylor, and John (Lori) Taylor, all of Chillicothe; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters. Mr. Taylor is an Army World War II Veteran and had retired as manager of the Britts Men's Clothing Department. He was a member of the New Lexington Lodge F & AM. Funeral services will be held 7:00 pm Wednesday in the Haller Funeral Home, Pastor Mike Cade officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call 5-7 pm Wednesday at Haller's, where a Masonic service will be held at 6:45pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Scioto Township Fire and EMS, 164 S. Watt St., Chillicothe.
