Clyde M. Harris Clyde M. Harris, 78, of Chillicothe, died 11:45 pm Friday, November 30, 2007 in the Adena Regional Medical Center, following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Thursday in the Apostolic Faith Church, Bidwell, OH, Elder Sherman Johnson officiating. Friends may call 6-8 pm Tuesday in the Haller Funeral Home. He was born August 4, 1929 in Piketon, OH to Ernest and Viola Cousins Harris. On November 4, 1991 he married Connie Sue Denning, who survives. Also surviving are his sons, Michael (Carolyn) Harris, Germany, Clyde Harris, Florida, and Peter Harris, of Jackson; daughters, Elsie "Peaches" Shabazz, Portsmouth, Della (Jimmie) Prather, Columbus, Dorcas (William) Tanner, Orient, Beth (Mark) Bayless, Portsmouth, Dorothy (Donald) Redwood, North Ridgeville, and Christina (William) Yearwood, Portsmouth; step-children, Beth Corn, of New Boston, and Paul Lewis, of Chillicothe; Grandchildren, Paul Gilbert, Minnie Marie and Danielle Harris, Kelly Teal, Aaron and Delone Shabazz, Tara Rae Parsley, Cassandra Davis, Rebekah and Leon Norman, Abigail Prather, Joel and Michelle Stanley , Meeka Harris, Zachariah Harris, Adam Tatum, Grace Bayless, Danielle Harris, Scott Howard, Danthea, Dante and Dimitri Redwood, Jacee and Ariel Yearwood; step-grandchildren, Joshua Bailey, Levi and Leslie Lewis; great-grandchildren, Phillip, Michael, Taylor, Leon Norman Jr., Corey and Cameron, Davis, Hali, Kiah and Hope Parsley; sisters, Sharon Bayless, and Kathy Russell; brothers, Robert Bayless, Julius (Deb) Bayless, and Jay Bayless. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elsie Breckenridge Harris; his parents and step-mother, Francis Harris; sons, Paul W. and Paul Winifred; brothers, Wilbur, Roger and Keith; and a sister, Yvonne Johnson. Mr. Harris was a member of the Apostolic Faith Church, Bidwell, OH. He had worked for the public transportation, Grinnell, Chillicothe Jeep Sales and retired from Kenworth Truck Co. He was a Scout Master with the Boy Scouts of America.
