Clifford Schobelock

Clifford Jay Schobelock, 66, of Columbus, passed from this life unexpectedly on October 10, 2015, at his residence. He was born on February 10, 1949 in Chillicothe, to the late James L. and Cora (Diehl) Schobelock, Sr. Before moving to Columbus, Cliff, accompanied by his dog, Max, enjoyed spending time with his mom, helping her with yard work, house work, and home repairs. They spent many happy and memorable days together. Cliff loved nature, fishing, hunting, and just being outdoors. Working on crossword puzzles and writing poetry were two of his favorite pastimes. Cliff will be missed by his daughters, Angela Norman, Tiffany Schobelock, and Tara Schobelock; his grandchildren, Omari and Ovanti Dennis, and J'Oni Davis; He will also be greatly missed by his brothers, James (Donna) Schobelock, Randy (Vicki) Schobelock, both of Chillicothe, and Richard (Joyce) Schobelock, of Columbus; his sisters, Patricia Elliott, Jennifer (Michael) Hines, Judith (Robert) Harmon, Pamela (Marvin) Coppock, all of Chillicothe, and Karen Darby, of Weston; as well as numerous nieces and nephews whom he dearly loved. Cliff will also be remembered by Kris Schobelock, Diane Norman, and his friend and fishing buddy, Beth. In addition to his parents, Cliff was preceded in death by his son, Travis R. Schobelock, a brother Jon, and three brothers-in-law. A visitation will be held from 3:00pm-5:00pm on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church; 585 E Main St, Chillicothe, Ohio 45601.
