Clifford Gallaugher

Clifford E. Gallaugher Clifford E. Gallaugher, 89, of Chillicothe, died 2:25 am, January 6, 2007 in the Valley View Alzheimers Care Center, following an extended illness. He was born September 20, 1917 in Liberty Township, Ross Co., OH to Clifton and Ethel E. Staffin Gallaugher. He married Ruth O. Jenkins and they shared 35 years of marriage until her death July 16, 1980. There were two children, Darryl A. Gallaugher, killed in Vietnam, March of 1968 and Nedra K. Park, who survives. Also surviving are grandchildren, Larry (Carri) Smith, David and Teresa Park, Steve and Tabby Smith, Andrea Park; great-grandchildren, Steven and Tyler Smith, Justin Hudnell, Ryan Park, Kennedy and Abbi Smith, and Kayla Park; and two nieces and a nephew. In addition to his son and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Henry and Irene Gallaugher and a son-in-law, Mike Park. Mr. Gallaugher was a World War II Army Veteran and retired from Chilpaco as a cutter operator with 35 years of service. He was a member of Local 988. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, January 10, 2007 in the Haller Funeral Home, Jeremy Hatfield officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Massieville.
