Clarence V. Lee, Sr., 98, died at 9:00pm September 14, 2016, at Traditions of Chillicothe. He was born May 1, 1918, in Wellston, OH, to the late Hulbert and Mary (Diggins) Lee. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law Clarence V., Jr. "June Bug" (Virginia) Lee; and Bob "Buddy" (Eva Marie) Lee, all of Chillicothe; grandchildren: Toya Lee, Kaz Lee, Bobby (Ashlee) Lee, and Robert Lee; step-grandchildren, Lee Edwards, Heather Cain, and Krista Beatty; great-grandchildren: Julius Lee; Saniya Lee; Tonaya Lammkin; Derrick Lee; Sean West; Broderick, Jeremiah and Braxtynn Lee; several step-great-grandchildren, Markel Cain, Males Bayless, MyRae Cain, Lee Edwards II, Kaylena Edwards, Kiana Edwards, Jahki Beatty, Clifford "Trey" Brown, Tanee Smith; and a special friend Doug Cousins. He was predeceased by his wife, Daisy N. (Harding) Lee; sisters Lelitia and Margarite; and brothers Hulbert and Edwin. Mr. Lee was a WWII Army veteran. Following his military service, he became trained as a welder and worked for the State of Ohio for 26 years. He was also a long-time dedicated member and Deacon of the Original Glorious Church of God where he was relied upon for many duties. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Monday at the Glorious Church of God, 123 W. Main St., with Bishop Melvin Maughmer and Pastor Obadiah Harris officiating. Military graveside services will follow conducted by the Ross Co. Veterans Honor Guard in Greenlawn Cemetery, Soldiers Square. Friends may call Monday from 11am until 1pm at the church.
