Clarence Donahue

Clarence A. Donahue, 102, of Chillicothe, died on November 28, 2015, at his residence following a brief illness. He was born November 10, 1913, in Pike County, OH to the late John T. and Mary E. (Keith) Donahue. On October 16, 1938, he married the former Helen F. Beavers, who preceded him in death on December 9, 2001. Surviving are his son Gene Donahue, Chillicothe; daughters Cecelia (Dennis) Moore, Winter Haven, FL; and Nancy Warner, Columbus; a son-in-law Paul Russell, Chillicothe; grandchildren: Julie (Terry) Von Clausburg; Lincoln (Brenda) Russell; Candy (Anthony) Drescher; Angela (Johnny Ray) Holbrook; Kelly (Neil) Pfleiderer; Elizabeth (Jim) Park; Marcina (Tim) Chase; 14 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, his wife, his daughter Sarah Russell; daughter-in-law Darlene Donahue; son-in-law Charles "Chuck" Warner; 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Clarence was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church for over 50 years. He was also a member of the Chillicothe Lion's Club for 38 years. He worked as a salesman for the former Oil & Battery and loved to bowl. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Thursday, December 3, at Haller Funeral Home with Pastor Kurt King officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call from 11am until 1pm Thursday at Haller's, where a Lion's Service will be held at 1pm.
