Clara Grant

Clara M. Grant Clara M. Beverly Grant, 90, of Chillicothe, died 5:40 am, August 11, 2006, in Westmoreland Place Nursing Home. She was born September 27, 1915 in Chillicothe to Essie and Marie Henderson Beverly. Survivors include a son, Pastor (Diana) Larry Grant, of Chillicothe; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; six brothers; five sisters; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Wallace Wimbley and four brothers. Clara retired as Head Cook from the Adena Regional Medical Center and Chillicothe Hospital. She was a member of Emmanuel Tabernacle Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday in the Haller Funeral Home, with her son officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call 5-7 pm Tuesday at Haller's.
