Cindy Brown

Cindy Jo (Barnes) Brown, passed away to be with the Lord Jesus unexpectedly on August 1, 2011, following a brief illness. She was the beloved daughter of Patricia A. (Sparks) Barnes, of Chillicothe; and James C. Barnes, Ft. Myers, FL. She was born December 1, 1956. Besides her parents and her husband, Kenneth Brown, she is survived by her loving daughter, Alissa Faye Wrightsel; a sister Suanne Merriman with whom she lived; and three brothers, James Rick (Kathi) Barnes; Brian N. Barnes; Barry E. Barnes; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Cindy graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1974 and received her Associate Degree from OSU-Urbana. She was a member of Greater Scioto Valley Emmaus Community and loved the many friends she made on her Walk to Emmaus in 2008 and a very special friend, Marcia Anderson, Washington C. H. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service. There will be a private memorial service at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be to the funeral home.
