Christy Lynn Myers

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Christy Lynn Myers, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Christy peacefully passed away on Sunday, February 8th, 2026, at the age of 69. She was a resident of Jackson, OH, but her journey began in Chillicothe, Ohio, on September 13th, 1956.

Christy was a graduate of high school and furthered her education at Motel Management School. She spent many fulfilling years working as a Motel Manager at the Oak Creek Inn, where her dedication and kindness left a lasting impression on colleagues and guests alike.

A devoted member of the New Hope Freewill Baptist Church, Christy was known for her unwavering faith and her lifelong commitment to serving her community. Her warmth and generosity were felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Christy is survived by her loving children, Kacey R Myers and her partner Andrew Darden, and Christopher L Deacon with his partner Tara Stires. She was a proud and doting grandmother to four beautiful grandchildren: Landon Deacon, William Darden, Brelyn Stires, and Brooklyn Stires-Deacon. Christy also leaves behind her dear sister, Linda K Branham Johnson, as well as nieces Jennifer and Margie, and nephews Bobby and Billy.

She is reunited in eternal rest with her beloved husband, William Floyd Myers, who passed on December 7, 1993, and her parents, Charles R Branham and E. Louise (Burdett) Branham.

To celebrate Christy's remarkable life, a Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory.

Christy's legacy of love, faith, and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
