Christopher Walter

Christopher Clay Walter, 50, of Chillicothe, died at home Friday August 17, 2007, following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Tuesday, August 21, in the Haller Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Cochran officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8pm Monday at Haller Funeral Home. Chris was born July 1, 1957, to Merle and Betty Lou (Poole) Walter. He is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Belinda; and his greatest pride and joy, daughters Misty Leigh (Nicholas) Walter and Lindy Jo (Terry) Tanner, all of Chillicothe; his father and step-mother Merle (Charlotte) Walter, Pike Co.; sisters and brothers-in-law Dianna (Gregory) Hurles; Kathleen (Carl) Woods, all of Chillicothe; brother Bruce Walter, Kingston; brother and sister-in-law Jonathan (Linda) Walter, Chillicothe; a special cousin Rick Wickline; his father-in-law and mother-in-law Glenn (Mary Lou) Cochran, Greensboro, NC; aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, and many, many special friends. He was predeceased by his mother Betty Lou Walter. Chris will be forever remembered as a faithful husband, father, and friend by everyone who knew him. He will be sadly missed by all.
