Christopher Schneider

Christopher J. Schneider, 67, of Chillicothe, died at 9:17am, May 1, 2022, at Adena Regional Medical Center, following a brief illness.   He was born September 24, 1954, in Chillicothe, to the late Albert Joseph and Rita (Flannigan) Schneider.  On August 17, 1981, he married the former Deborah L. Wheeler, who survives.   Also surviving are his daughter and son-in-law Amie (Timothy) Spaulding, of Chillicothe; grandchildren: Andrea (Matt) Whittington, Kevan Spaulding, Kourtney Spaulding, Morgan Spaulding and Christa Spaulding; great-grandchildren: Evelyn and Mason Whittington; his siblings: Margaret (Raymon) Nordhagen, of Grove, OK, Albert J. (Linda) Schneider, Jr., of Proctorville, OH, Nicholas (Rhonda) Schneider, Casselberry, FL, and Theresa (Randy) Hughes, Canton, MO; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son Brad Schneider; and his brother and sister-in-law Joseph and Susan Schneider.   Chris was a graduate of Bishop Flaget High School, Class of 1972, and earned his Associate Degree.  He served his country in the US Army from 1973-1976, and worked as rural route carrier with the US Postal Service.   At his request, there will be no public services.
