Christopher Rankin

Christopher D. Rankin, 44, went to be with the Lord on October 25, 2018, at his residence.   He was born February 12, 1974, in Temple, TX, to David and the late Deanna R. (Maynard) Rankin.   Chris was a graduate of Killeen High School, Class of 1992, in Killeen, TX. He attended Stephen F. Austin University and later worked as a car salesman for the Coughlin Automotive Group and Hometown Chevrolet. Chris had attended Trinity Baptist Church in Harker Heights, TX.   He is survived by his father and step-mother David (Elsie Gayle) Rankin, of Stoutsville, OH; brothers: David A. Rankin, Charlestown, WV, Matthew D. (Twana) Hanish, Stoutsville, and William D. Rankin, Harker Heights, TX; sisters Leigh Ann (Dawn) Gillespie, Point Pleasant, WV, and Launie Frances (Phillip) Seymour, of Circleville, OH; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Deanna.   The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-8pm at Haller Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral and burial will be held under the direction of Crawford-Bower Funeral Home in Killeen, TX. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church of the donor's choice.
