Christine Ridings

Christine Marie Ridings, 43, of Chillicothe, passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning, July 12, 2018, at her home following an extended illness. She was born July 30, 1974, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Frederick Anthony and Yvonne Elizabeth (Sahr) Grossman. On March 13, 1998, she married Ronald Ridings who survives. Also surviving are their children, Ronald Christopher Ridings, Jr., and Caitlyn Elaine Ridings, both of Chillicothe; her siblings, Jeff (Anne) Grossman, Pickerington, Karen (Jack) Meredith, Westerville, Terri (Bert) Harrison, Tipp City, and Mike (Kim) Grossman, Hilton Head; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bob (Debbie) Avery; three brothers-in-law, James Arthur Ridings, Chillicothe, John (Adrienne) Ridings, Hillsboro, and Howard (Dana) Thomas, of Chillicothe; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Christine formerly worked at Homeland Credit Union as a Bank Teller. Her pride and joy was getting to attend her children's sporting events and cheering them on. She loved spending time with her family and was always willing to help people in any way that she could. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00-8:00pm on Monday, July 16, 2018 at the Haller Funeral Home. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no funeral service. Memorial contributions can be made to the Ross County Humane Society.
