Chester L. Wingo died December 18, 2023 at Long Beach Medical Center in California.
He was born May 13, 1944 in Chillicothe to the Late Walter and Virginia Wingo.
He is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers. Joe, Larry, Richard, and Timothy Wingo, and one sister, Ada Scott. He is survived by his son, Chester Wingo Jr.; sisters, Marion Turner and Dorothy Stone, and brother James Wingo.
Chester was a veteran of the United States Air Force and did 2 tours in Vietnam.
As a youth he enjoyed roller skating and sports with his brothers. He lived his adult life in Los Angelas, California.
Cremation took place in California.
A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at 2:00pm at Greenlawn Cemetery, Chillicothe with Pastor Obidiah Harris officiating.
