Chester Evans

Chester James "Bub" Evans, 62, of Bainbridge, died 11:05 pm, Sunday, February 21, 2016, at the Ohio State University Medical Center. He was born January 11, 1954 in Columbus, OH to the late Chester E. and Linnie Arnold Evans. In 2006 he married the former Sharon E. Kunkel, who survives. Also surviving are his four children, Joe (Bessie) Powers and April (her Fiance Nathan) Nance, both of Chillicothe, Jamie Powers, of Columbus, and Teresa (Sean) Masten, of Waverly; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and seven brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters. Mr. Evans retired as a truck driver with Depuy Paving. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Thursday at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory, Pastor Joel Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Springbank Cemetery.
