Cheryl Outen

Cheryl Lynn Outen, 68, of Circleville, passed away Thursday afternoon, December 12, 2019 at Signature Healthcare in Chillicothe, following a brief battle with cancer.

She was born June 7, 1951 in Farmville, West Virginia, daughter of the late Mary Hamilton.

Surviving is her son, Jesse Outen, of Chillicothe; her granddaughter, Meri Outen, of Kingston; special friends, Brenda Bryan, and Crystal Arledge, both of Chillicothe, Barb Halterman, of Washington Court House, and Beverly Burroughs, of Circleville; as well as her Frontier Community Service family.

Cheryl worked for Frontier Community Services for more than 30 years until her retirement in May 2019. In her free time, she enjoyed cross stitch, going antique shopping, and loved gardening. Her family and friends will forever remember her for the kindness and love that she spread. She never forgot a birthday or missed an opportunity to make someone feel special with her baking. But her favorite thing to do was spending time with her granddaughter, Meri.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00pm on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at the Haller Funeral Home with Pastor John Hocker officiating. Friends may join the family for a visitation from 5:00pm until the time of the service.
