Charlotte Hoosier

Charlotte Ann Hoosier, 81, of Chillicothe, died Saturday, April 14, 2012, at her home. She was born August 19, 1930 in Chillicothe to the late Walter M. and Mildred L. Brandon Woodfork. On July 4, 1964 she married Herbert B. Hoosier, who survives. Also surviving are her children, Jack (Rhonda) Beard and Mark (companion Mary) Hoosier, both of Chillicothe; four grandchildren, Jack Beard III, Leondra Nelson, Tia Hoosier, and Allia Hoosier; step grandchildren, Terrance Dalton, Tashia Walker, and Mark Hale; four great-grandchildren; a special cousin, Roland Phillips; brothers and sisters-in-law, Elias Hoosier, Jr., Mary Ann Harris, Earl Hoosier, Lewis Hoosier, Bonnie Harris, Eleanor Harris, Daisy Tanner, and Marie Hoosier; a special cousin, Dorothy Hill Tyler; a former daughter-in-law, Sharon Hoosier; a special friend, Queen Lester; and several other special relatives. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Beard. Mrs. Hoosier was a member of the Janis 54 Club, First Baptist Church, and the spouse of a Chillicothe Evening Lions Club member. Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm Thursday at Floral Baptist Church, Pastor James Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Garden.
