Charles David Seymour, 62, of Chillicothe, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 23, 2019, at his home.
He was born July 21, 1956, in Ross County to the late John and Alaine Seymour.
Surviving are his daughters, Jennifer Skaggs, Mandy (Philip) Penwell, and Lynn Skaggs; his grandchildren, Aaron Penwell, Ethan Ayers, Jada Penwell, and Kimberly Skaggs; two sisters, Roberta Mayer, and Jonnie Hill; two brothers, Pete Seymour, and Terry Seymour; and his close friends, Tim (Stephanie) Woltz, and the Shaw family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Jackie Clayborn.
Charles was a graduate of Huntington High School, class of 1974. He went on to join the military and became an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Navy. He worked at the Chillicothe VA Medical Center for many years before his retirement in 2015. In his free time he enjoyed reading books, listening to music, and watching movies. He also loved getting to go to the casino.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00pm-7:00pm on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at the Haller Funeral Home.
