Charles Rheinscheld

Charles Eugene "Chuck" Rheinscheld, at the young age of 56, won his angel wings at 11:25pm June 9, 2018, at his residence surrounded by family, following a three year battle with cancer. He was a devoted father, husband and grandfather.   He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Tammy L. (Carter) Rheinscheld; his children: Jessica Gardner (Scott Hart), Christopher Gardner (Amanda Tackett), and Charles Rheinscheld, Jr.; granddaughter Gracie; and grandsons Harley and Carter, all of Chillicothe.   He was born January 25, 1962, in Ironton, OH, to Frances (Lester) Rheinscheld, who survives; and the late Lewis Rheinscheld. Also surviving are his siblings: Charlotte Deible, of Columbus, Michele "PD" Wharton, a brother Mike (Bev) Rheinscheld, all of Lancaster, OH; nieces and nephews: Woody, Heath, Justin, Aaron, Josh, Caleb, Madison; and several aunts, uncles and cousins; special friends Matt (Danielle) Park and John Ham; and special cousins Dan (Kelli) Rheinscheld that he loved like a brother.   Chuck was a longtime employee with TNT Trucking Equipment and a former volunteer fireman for 10 years with Springfield Twp. His favorite things were the outdoors and loving his family.   A memorial service in his honor will be announced at a later date.
