Charles Parker

Charles W. "Junior" Parker, 84, of Chillicothe, died November 7, 2007, in Chillicothe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Military graveside services conducted by the Ross Co. Veteran Honor Guard will be held at 11:00am Thursday, November 15, in Londonderry Cemetery with Pastor Sam Cummings officiating. Calling hours will not be observed. Arrangements are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home. Junior was born February 18, 1923, in Chillicothe, to the late Charles A. and Elizabeth J. Willis Parker. On August 2, 1944, he married the former Lucille Weaver, who preceded him in death on December 31, 1976. Surviving are his son Charles E. Parker, Pinellas Park, FL; his daughter Sherry A. Moore, Chillicothe; grandchildren: Teresa, Eric, and Sara; and six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by sisters Catherine Grant and Belma Renner. Junior retired from the Mead Paper Corp. where he worked in the coating department. He served his country in the US Army, having been a WWII Veteran. He was a member of the Mead Local 731 and a member of the Restoration Church of Chillicothe.
