Charles Mowery

Charles Peter Mowery III, 64, of Circleville, died November 1, 2006, at the VA Medical Center, in Chillicothe, Ohio, after a long battle with cancer. Pete was born October 5, 1942, to Charles P. and Mary Lou Mowery. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lou. He is survived by daughters, Katie (Sam) Hall, of Ashville and Kelli (Bruce) Davis of Princeton, Illinois. Grandchildren Jacob, Evie and Lilli; Father Charles P. Mowery Jr. of Circleville. Sister Sarah (Phil) Wing of Detroit Michigan; Nephews Eric (Coleen) Wing of Lakewood, Ohio, and Matt (Char) Wing of Detroit Michigan; great Nephews and Niece Benjamin, Nathan and Lindsay; Aunt Helen Stiers of Circleville. Pete served in the Vietnam War where he received three Purple Hearts and the Air Medal. He then worked at the VA Medical Center where he was an Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor. He touched countless lives and will be missed dearly by everyone who knew him. A memorial, celebrating Pete's life, will be Sunday November 12, 2006, at 5:00 PM in the Rec Hall of Building 9 at the VA Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio.
