Charles Mickey

Charles L. Mickey, Sr., 75, of Chillicothe, died June 15, 2010, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Chillicothe. He was born August 6, 1934 in Chillicothe to the late William Madge Brown Mickey. Survivors include his children, Denise Bryant, Angela Craddolph, Valerie Duckens, and Deanna Furtick, of Columbus, Charles Jr. and Michael Mickey, of Chillicothe; great grandchildren, AuDean, Brea, Ani, Treston, Tyreke and Andre; brothers and sister, Betty Davis, of Buffalo, NY, Frank and Harry Mickey, of Chillicothe, and Gordon Mickey, of Detroit, MI; a close friend, Linda Johnson, and his former wife Margaret Mundell Mickey. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers and sisters, Paul Burke Jr., Mary Chandler, Gale Mickey, William Mickey Jr., twins Donald and Ronald Mickey. Mr. Mickey was a US Air Force Korean Conflict Veteran. He worked for the City of Chillicothe and was a member of First Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday at the Haller Funeral Home. Military graveside services, conducted by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard, will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
