Charles Martin

Charles Everett Martin, 57 of Molino, FL, passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2023 with his loving wife, Amber, by his side.    Born on October 11, 1965, Charles was the younger son of the late Charles and Jeanette Adams Martin.  Charlie is survived by his wife, Amber Martin of Molino, FL; Amber's two children, Casey and Jean Lyons; Catie and Sarah Minney, whom he was like a father to, and their children Georgia and Payton; a brother, Raymon (Mindy) Martin, of Chillicothe; a stepsister, Jane Baldridge; a niece, Meghan (Zach) Ray; a nephew, Kevin (Jossalynn) Martin; and great-niece and nephew, Eva and Zachary Ray.  He was preceded in death by his parents; a great-niece, Aubreigh Ray; and a stepsister Helen Kathleen Cooper.   Charles was a 1985 graduate of Chillicothe High School and a 35-year employee of Kroger in Chillicothe before moving with his wife to Molino, FL.  Charlie learned from his father how to fish, to cook and to respect others.  Charlie also deeply loved his family and friends, rock and roll, including attending concerts with his brother Ray, and golf.  He found a deep relationship with God later in life and he loved sharing what God had done for him with everyone he would meet.   A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at Massieville School, where he attended elementary and middle school, Massieville Road, Chillicothe, OH on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 6:00 pm.  Private graveside services will be held in Twin Twp. Cemetery.  A Memorial Service will be held at St. Matthew Baptist Church, where Charlie attended regularly, Hwy 29, Cantonment, FL on Thursday June 22, 2023 at 6:00 pm, with a bonfire to follow at Charlie's house.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in his honor.
