Charles W. Kight, 87, died unexpectedly early Tuesday morning, August 23, 2022, at his residence.
He was born October 6, 1934 in Ross Co. to the late Eldon and Edith Tennant Kight. On July 2, 1979 he married Wilma Diane Gloyld Kight, who survives. Also surviving are three stepsons, James and John (Sherri) Clary, of Chillicothe, and Robert (Lucy) Clary, of Bainbridge; step-grandchildren, Dallas, Austin, Chenoa, Aidan, Hunter and Sydney; a great-grandchild, Ezio; and a brother, Lowell Kight. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
Charles was a US Army veteran and retired from the City of Chillicothe as a mechanic. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a avid boxing fan.
Following cremation, military graveside services, conducted by the Ross Co Veterans Honor Guard will be held in Floral Hills Memory Gardens 11:00 am Thursday.
