Charles E. Jones, 85, of Chillicothe, passed away on June 27, 2025, at Adena Regional Medical Center. He was born on July 22, 1939 to the late Charles and Kathleen (Thacker) Jones, in Williamsport, Ohio.
He is survived by loving children, Robert Jones and Carolyn (Jones) Lemons; 8 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Brian Jones.
Known as "Bo" to family and friends he worked construction for over 40 years and was known for being a hard worker and never missing a day of work. Charles was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, serving from 1959 – 1962 as a radioman.
After his retirement, he moved to Texas for several years and later chose to return to Chillicothe. He was always reliable, and was a very devoted and loving father. He loved his family more than anything and was always there for them, no matter what.
In keeping with Charles wishes, cremation will take place. Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 12pm at Browns Chapel Cemetery in Clarksburg, Ohio.
