Charles Brown

Charles Franklin Brown, 79, of Chillicothe, died November 16, 2014, at his home, unexpectedly. He was born September 5, 1935 in Chillicothe to the late James H. and Maybelle Cobb Brown. On September 26, 1970 he married Alice M. Thornton, who died April 21, 2011. Survivors include a son, Chris Cousins, of Chillicothe; a step-son, Clark (Karen) Lee, of Chillicothe; his grandchildren, Shanea, Champaign, and Christopher Cousins, Stacey Boltenhouse, Natalie Martin, Megan and Monique Lee and Chelsie Parrish; two great-grandchildren; a brother, John (Charlene) Brown, of Chillicothe; several nieces, nephews and other family members. He was preceded in death by a brother Jim Jr. and a sister, Myrtle. Charles retired as an aircraft mechanic from Rickenbacker Air Field. He was a US Air Force veteran. Graveside services, conducted by the Ross Co. Veterans Honor Guard and Pastor Clifford Brown, will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday at Floral Hills Memory Garden. Calling hours will not be observed.
