Charles Donald Ault, 88, of Chillicothe, died 9:50 pm, April 29, 2008, in Traditions of Chillicothe. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday at the Sunrush Church of Christ. Graveside services, conducted by the Ross Co. Veterans Honor Guard, will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call 5-8 pm Friday in the Haller Funeral Home. He was born June 3, 1919 in Chillicothe to Charles and Sarah Manion Ault. In 1940 he married Ruth B. Speakman, who survives. Also surviving are four children, Donald (Carolyn) Ault, Judy (James) Lyons, and Jo Ann (Greg) Cox, all of Chillicothe and Herbert Ault, of North Hollywood, CA; 12 grandchildren, Vicki McFadden, Sherri Ault, Tammy (Dale) Ault-Sorrell, Steven (Ricki) Wise, Debra and Michelle Lyons, Renee (Duane) Valentine, Dustin (Rebecca) Ault, Jeffrey and Sarah Ault, and Chuck (Sheila) and Ben (Nikki) Kassulke; 15 great-grandchildren, with one on the way; and 2 great-great grandchildren; a beloved sister, Gladys Swatman, of Obetz; a brother-in-law, Ronald Speakman; a sister-in-law, Vera Graves; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sons, James and Robert; six brothers, Willard, Wayne, Gerald, Emmitt, Glenn, and Earl Edward Ault and a sister, Laura. Mr. Ault was a World War II Army Veteran. He retired from Chilpaco in 1981 and formerly was a realtor. He was a long time member of the Sunrush Church of Christ, and was a member of the Ross Co. Senior Citizens and S.A.L.T. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in his honor.
