Champ Robinson

Ralph E. "Champ" Robinson, 84, of Washington CH, OH, died 7:05 am, September 5, 2023 at Four Seasons of Washington, following an extended illness.

He was born July 17, 1939 in Ross Co. to the late Paul R. and Juanita Ackley Robinson.  On March 17, 1961 he married Ann J. "Bert" Roberts Robinson, who died January 8, 2016.  Survivors include two children, Kim (Todd) Warnecke, of Washington CH and Robby (Sheryl) Robinson, of Chillicothe; six grandchildren, Tyler (Zack) Heuer-Fuccello, Jarrod (Stacey) Mick, Mike (Kendall) Warnecke, Cortney (Dan) Williams, Stacey (Danny) Robinson, and Hayley (Jacob) Szpernal; six great-grandchildren; 4 siblings, Diana (Gary) Anderson, Dave (Debra) Robinson, John (Brenda) Robinson and Michael Robinson; and his beloved pet, "Sccy".  He was preceded in death by three siblings, Patsey, Paul Wayne, and Rick Robinson; and a stepson, Don Stumbo.

Champ retired from Calmar, WCH, and was an avid mushroom hunter, "tinkerer and piddler."  He was a member of Washington CH Lodge 107 and Frankfort Lodge 309 F & AM, the Scottish Rite, and BPOE Lodge 129.

His Masonic Graveside Funeral Service will be held 2:00 pm, Friday, September 22, 2023 in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort, OH.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Promedica Hospice, 208 N. Fayette St., Washington CH, OH 43160, or any Masonic charity.
