Chad Thomas

Chad B. Thomas Chad Beckett Thomas, 34, of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly, 12:15 am Sunday, November 19, 2006 in the Adena Regional Medical Center. He went to sleep in this world and awoke in Heaven. He was born December 8, 1971 in Chillicothe to Jim and Janet Thomas, who survive. On August 31, 1996 he married Wendy Miles Thomas, the love of his life. Also surviving are his children, Lexie and Tyler, at home; two brothers, Todd (Amy) Thomas, of Frankfort, and Paul (Missy) Thomas, of South Salem; a sister, Allison (Chris) Butler, of Frankfort; his mother and father-in-law, Ronald and Penny Miles, of Chillicothe; two brothers-in-law, Jim Casebolt and his fiancé, Nadine, of Chillicothe, and Matthew Miles, of TN.; his grandmothers, Mary Thomas, of Chillicothe and Margie Beckett, of WV; nieces and nephews, Lauren, Roni, Ben, Maddie, Isaac, Jonathan, Abby, Luke, Colton, Kaylee, Trevor and Treston, Kylie and Breanna; special friends, Tom Herald, who was like a brother to Chad, Chad Newland, and Maceio and Susan Wright. Chad was a 1990 graduate of Adena High School, where he was an excellent football player. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the Michigan Wolverines. He was employed by CCI as a Corrections Officer. Chad was a loving family man and a good friend to many. His keen intelligence, quick wit, and good natured spirit will always be remembered and sorely missed. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm, Wednesday, November 22, 2006, in the Haller Funeral Home, with his brother, Pastor Todd Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 pm Tuesday (today) at Haller's.
