Chillicothe

Chad Robert Immell, 58, of Chillicothe, Ohio, passed from this life on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at his residence of natural causes. He was born on January 30, 1968 in St. Cloud, Florida, the son of the late Robert L. Immell and Mary Annette (DeGarmo) Immell, who survives.

In addition to his mother, also surviving are his brothers, Sean (Maureen) Immell, Bryan (Mary Lynn) Immell, Jeff Chavis; sister, Tracey (Jeff) Creed, all of Chillicothe; nieces and nephews, Sean, Robert, Nicole Lynn, Nicole, Derek, Cory, Hunter, Ryker, Lucas (Madisyn) Coyle, and Nicholas (Allison) Coyle. He is preceded in death by his father and his beloved dog, Saint.

Chad worked in construction as a carpenter all his life, a trade he learned from his dad and that he loved and was very good at. His later years were spent working with his brother Bryan at Immell & Sons Builders and helping build and open restaurants with his brother Sean.

Chad loved life, his family, friends and most of all his favorite companion Saint. He also loved anything that included being on the water and in the woods hiking. He also had a passion for cooking, something he inherited from his parents. Good food, good fun, and being with friends. He has so many friends but would especially like to mention, Shannon Gumm, Kevin Davis, Jim Reese, and Clarence Withrow.

Per his wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no calling hours. A celebration of life will be held in September with details to follow.

Memorial contributions can be made to his favorite charities, Ross County Humane Society and Homeless Veterans. Although he did not serve he always let it be known the love and appreciation he had for his country and for veterans. Special thanks to Haller Funeral Services, Jimmy White and others for their amazing compassion in a very difficult time for our family.
