Cathy Ellen Downs, 65, of Chillicothe passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024, in the comfort of her own home snuggled with her pup Minnie. Cathy was born on May 11, 1959, to the late Carl (Dick) and Betty Downs.
She is preceded in death by her love Phillip Shonebarger, Daughter, Rosie Downs, Brother, Charlie Downs, and sister, Cassadra (Honey) Downs. Surviving are her siblings: Cindy (Harold) Allison, David (Richard) Yoakem, Patty (Kevin) Baker, her children: Chasadee Williams, and Carolyn Downs, her Grandkids: Chelsea, Makayla, Carol, Brandson, Christa, Josh, Kaity, Justin, Carl, LeAnn, and 13 great grandkids.
Cathy will be remembered for the love she had for family, and football. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her heart was whole when spending time with loved ones .
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 3 rd , 2024 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory. The Funeral Service for Cathy will be held on Wednesday, December 4 th at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home.
