Carson Mccomis

Carson McComis, 72, of Chillicothe, died 5:56 pm, at the Adena Regional Medical Center, following an extended illness. He was born December 2, 1939 in Ross Co. to the late Huey and Ruby Kuhn McComis. In 1958 he married the former Betty Jane Butcher, who survives. Also surviving are his four daughters, Roberta Thacker, Waverly, Ruby (Arthur) Auten, Buchanan, Teresa (John) Lawhorn and Sheila (Russell) McCray, both of Chillicothe; two sons, Carson McComis and Colby (Sheila) Skaggs, both of Chillicothe; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Roger (Nancy), Arnold (Nancy) and Huey (Patty) McComis; and a sister, Lara McComis. He was preceded in death by three brothers; two sisters; and a daughter-in-law, Susan McComis. Mr. McComis was a retired sawyer. He loved to fish and hunt. Funeral services will be held 1:30 pm Saturday, at the Haller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Twin Twp. Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at Haller's.
