Carroll M. Pigman, 70, of Chillicothe, passed away on 11:33 pm, Monday, December 2, 2013, at The Villages Hospital in The Villages, FL. He was surrounded by his loving wife of 39 years, Freda Malone Heshiser Pigman, and his brother and sister-in-law Donald and Jane Pigman. Carroll was born in Proctorville, OH on August 27, 1943 to the late Virgil and Ida Ward Pigman. He was past president of the FOE Eagles Aerie 2227, Waverly, OH. He held most offices in the FOE Eagles Aerie 600, and was a Golden Age Eagle and past Deputy State President for two years. Carroll was also a member of Eagles Aerie 43335 in Eustis, FL. He was a long time member of the Free and Accepted Masons Lodge 550, Proctorville, and the Cincinnati York Rite bodies; a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 757, and a 33 year member of the Moose Lodge 1626, Chillicothe and 874, Eustis, FL. Carroll was a graduate of Fairland High School, Proctorville. He was a manager of Atkins Big Boy in Huntington, WV and retired from the C&O Railroad as a journeyman electrician. He had also worked for the Goodyear Atomic Plant, Piketon, in maintenance at YSK and FPE in Circleville. He owned and operated OK Used Cars in Chillicothe and was a building consultant for several HUD Housing projects in Ohio and West Virginia. He was a licensed auctioneer and real estate agent. Carroll was a wonderful and loving husband and father. He enjoyed meeting people and had many friends. He will be missed by all. He is survived by his wife Freda, a son, Roger Larry Allen (Barbara Pettit) Heshiser II, of South Carolina; his daughters, Carla Sue (Philip) Guierrez, of Texas, and Angela Marie Hayes, of Ohio; his grandchildren, Meghan Heshiser, Lance Heshiser, Thomas Hayes, Isabella and Analisa Guierrez; a sister, Lorena Shavor, of Barboursville, WV; a brother, Donald (Jane) Pigman, of Proctorville; a brother-in-law, John (Rose) Malone, of Chillicothe; and several nieces and nephews. A special thanks to National Church Residences, Waverly, for his care in Ohio; and to all his doctors, nurses, LPN's and CNA's who gave him wonderful care in Ohio and Florida. Carroll will be cremated and a memorial service will be scheduled in May and announced at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
